The National Association of Healing Rooms England (Charity Registration Number 1125094) relates to the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR) based in Spokane, Washington, USA. It oversees all the IAHR Healing Rooms in England and is based in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

We have a vision to see every town and city in England with at least one Healing Room and many Healing Rooms in larger cities. This is part of a wider vision to see Healing Rooms set in around the world. The first IAHR Healing Room in the UK opened in Halifax, West Yorkshire at the end of January 2003. There are now 61 registered IAHR Healing Rooms in England and Wales if you include those in Scotland and Northern Ireland the total is over 100 Healing Rooms in the UK. Worldwide there are over 1,800 Healing Rooms in 55 nations all linked together through IAHR.

Each Healing Room ministry team consists of a group of volunteer Christians from several local churches, joining in unity to see the body of Christ (the church) restored and then to take the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ into the world with demonstration of healing. Our goal is to establish uniformity and accountability in each work by offering, through an association, the tools to properly equip each Healing Room. Our focus is and must be on the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to work through us to heal the sick.
